1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of PaidPatrol (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The Service
PaidPatrol lets you record invoices and automatically sends polite, escalating email reminders to your clients on your behalf until an invoice is marked paid. Reminders are sent in your name, and replies go to your own email address.
3. Your account
You sign in using a magic link sent to your email — there is no password. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You may only use PaidPatrol to send legitimate payment reminders to clients you have a genuine business relationship with, for work you have actually performed. You must comply with all applicable anti-spam and email laws (such as CAN-SPAM and similar regulations).
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the invoice details you enter and for having a lawful basis to email each recipient. You may not use PaidPatrol to send unsolicited bulk email, harass anyone, or send misleading or fraudulent messages.
5. Billing and free trial
PaidPatrol offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, continued use costs $29 per month, billed through Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider and merchant of record.
You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
6. Your data
You retain ownership of the data you enter, including your invoice and client information. You grant us the limited right to process it in order to provide the Service (for example, to send the reminders you schedule). Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. PaidPatrol helps you follow up on invoices but does not guarantee that any invoice will be paid. Nothing in the Service constitutes legal, accounting, or financial advice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaidPatrol will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm PaidPatrol, its users, or third parties.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
